Hiring a Precision Machinist for our client, Reading MA machining manufacturer. This role is Direct Hire, Pay $45 - 60/HR (DOE), and Days Shift schedule. Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining machines and tooling parts, precision machining, and building and repairing new and existing tools.

Title: Precision Machinist

Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:00a - 3:30p or 8:00a - 4:30p

Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent / Full Time

Pay Rate: $45 - 60/HR (DOE)

Location: Reading, MA - 100% Onsite

Job Duties 'At-a-Glance':

  • Operate and maintain industrial precision machines
  • Work with conventional and CNC mills and lathes, surface grinders EDM
  • Will produce precision tools such as injection molds, stamping dies, secondary production and assembly fixtures
  • Perform scheduled PM on molds and stamping dies
  • Inspect and make minor repairs
Job Requirements

Work Skills and Education requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • 4 years of industrial precision machining and technical skills with mills, lathes, surface grinders and EDM experience
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting
