Position Type: Seasonal - Full Time and Part Time Wage Range: $9 + tips Supervisory: No Supervised By: Taps Manager/Taps Lead Bartender POSITION SUMMARY: Positive, outgoing, and energetic individuals who is willing to learn, practice and exemplify the Schweitzer culture of hospitality and teamwork while working in a fun, fast paced adult venue serving alcoholic beverages, and food. Applicants must be 21 years or older. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Extensive guest service and hospitality. Sells liquor, beer, wine, and food. Must know and be accountable for State of Idaho Alcoholic beverage laws and enforcement. Will be required to attend a State of Idaho or Schweitzer sponsored training class on Responsible Alcohol Service. You are also responsible for bringing your own bank and cash handling. Accuracy of your cash out. Opening and closing duties, prep work, and familiarity with changing menus. FOH cleanliness and side work requirements. Knowledge of POS systems. Professional and friendly behaviors are a must, ability to greet guests in a friendly, sincere, and welcoming manner while maintaining service and speed. May be required to work behind bar. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 10 hours per shift. Will get breaks as available. Required to lift over 25 lbs frequently and over 50 lbs occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 90% inside. All sensory skills needed. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Cash handling required. POS order system experience preferred. Multitasking. EDUCATION: Adult beverage knowledge; basic math, reading, writing, and communication EXPERIENCE: Minimum 12 months job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence LICENSE NEEDED: None AGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years or older MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: POS, Wine Key, and Tray Service. JUDGMENT/MENTAL COMPLEXITY: High: Must be able to monitor surroundings while multitasking REVIEW SCHEDULE: This position and the person filling it will be evaluated once per season.
