Position Type: Seasonal - Full Time and Part Time Wage Range: $ 10 (plus tips) Supervisory: No Supervised By: Taps Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Mixology, Alcoholic Beverage and Food sales/service. Positive, outgoing, and energetic individuals who are willing to learn, practice and exemplify the Schweitzer culture of hospitality and teamwork while working in a fun, fast paced adult venue serving alcoholic beverages, and food. Applicants must be 21 years or older. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Opens bar, counts till, opens/lock up, set up, stock, make back-ups, and network with cocktail servers. Inventory products, mixes drinks, runs POS, excellent guest service and entertainment, bar cleanliness and side work duties. Closes bar, drops cash/deposit sheets, lock up product, and area.Must know and be accountable for State of Idaho Alcoholic beverage laws and enforcement. Will be required to attend a State of Idaho or Schweitzer sponsored training class on Responsible Alcohol Service. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 10 hours per shift; paperwork for up to one hour per shift. Will lift over 25lbs frequently, over 50lbs occasionally; will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis. Will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. All sensory skills needed. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Mixologist, Multitasking, excellent customer service, and communication. EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication; basic math EXPERIENCE: Two years mixed drink bartending. Beer Knowledge required. Wine knowledge helpful LICENSE NEEDED: None AGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years or older MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Blender, knives, Co2, and tapping kegs. JUDGMENT/MENTAL COMPLEXITY: High.Must be able to monitor surroundings while multitasking REVIEW SCHEDULE: This position and the person filling it will be evaluated once per season.
