PAY RATE: $18 - $20 (DOE) + Tips SUPERVISORY: No SUPERVISED BY: Taps Manager ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the overall operations of the day-to-day culinary operation of Sam's Alley, Schweitzer's pizza kitchen. Will be responsible for overseeing the production and setup for daily sales. Completes prep work. Must be ready each morning with complete back-up for lunch each day. Food must be of Schweitzer Mountain Resort's quality standards. Responsible for ordering, organization, and rotation of food while maintaining proper inventory levels of product. Works with Taps Manager to create and implement daily specials consistent with quality and price structure of overall outlet. Capable of preparing each menu item and acts as a hands-on manager, working alongside the kitchen staff in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Will help organize and manage staff of Sam's Alley and assist the Taps Manager with staff, monthly inventories, ordering, prep lists, scheduling, banquets and special events as needed. EXPERIENCE: 1-2 Years of commercial kitchen experience with pizza or sandwich experience preferred. LICENSE NEEDED: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS
MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Ovens, processors, basic kitchen tools-knives, dish machine. REVIEW SCHEDULE: This position and the person filling it will be reviewed once a season.
