Assists Bar/Bartenders work needs. Positive, outgoing, and energetic individuals who are willing to learn, practice and exemplify the Schweitzer culture of hospitality and teamwork while working in a fun, fast paced 21+ venue serving alcoholic beverages, and food. Applicant must be 21 years or older. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Stock beer, clean cooler, pick up garbage around bar and deck area. Empty trash as needed. Bus tables as needed and assist with crowd control occasionally. Will assist cocktail servers, bartenders, and supervisors with bar cleanup during and after each shift. Assist with all prep, organization, and set up for opening. Occasionally may be working an outdoor bar. This will include cashiering skills, mixology and multitasking. Required to attend TIPS training. Assist in gathering info and updating beer books and digital menus. Assist in counting/inputting inventory on a monthly basis. Assist in monitoring/tracking and invoicing for internal transfers and parties/events. Assist with costing beer, liquor, wine and drink specials. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Will get breaks as available on a varying schedule. Required to lift 25 lbs frequently and over 50 lbs occasionally. Will lift up to 100 lbs infrequently - assistance is available for heavy lifting. Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 80% inside and 20% outside. Exposed to all temperature and weather conditions. All sensory skills needed. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Mixology is a plus. Multitasking. EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication; basic math EXPERIENCE: None LICENSE NEEDED: None AGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years or older MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Hand truck, knives, dumbwaiter, CO2, and taps on kegs .
