Outgoing and energetic individual who is willing to exemplify, teach and practice the Schweitzer culture of teamwork, hospitality, camaraderie, and incredible guest experiences. Applicant must be 14 years or older. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Cash handling and cash register duties using POS, register, guest service, bussing tables, running food, keeping front area clean, and stocked. Will help with prep work . Kitchen experience a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Will stand in place for up to 2 to 3 hours at a time. Will get breaks as available. Will lift up to 25 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 100% inside and is exposed to all kitchen hazards. All sensory skills needed. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be willing to obtain and learn extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, services and activities. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in giving directions and answering questions. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication, basic math, knowledgeof Health Code EXPERIENCE: Cash register and/or POS system experience helpful AGE REQUIREMENTS: 14+ LICENSE NEEDED: None MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Cash register, POS ordering system, pizza warmer, fridge, and potential other equipment associated with a kitchen.
