Dematic has an immediate need for an Electrical Controls Engineer in our Customer Service Modernizations & Upgrades group. Candidates will have up to 2 years' experience in controls engineering. Qualified candidates are familiar with planning, creating schematic and electrical layout drawings, working with PLCs (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), HMIs, and VFD's, and implementation and commissioning of engineering design projects. Employees must be willing to travel up to 40% to customer locations in the USA. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be$45,000 - $97,000at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Do In This Role: Assists in the design of routine systems that integrate hardware and software. Assists in routine material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up. Aids in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction. Performs basic tasks and functions for professional field of work. Seeks advice and guidance on nonroutine or problem areas from others. Identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex. What We Are Looking For: Demonstrates a basic knowledge of professional principles and skills. Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular area of specialization. Typically, up to 2 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
