Salary range: $78,950 - $91,648, Depending on Experience

Job Description

This role is tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient management of both day and night shift operations at the Anchorage facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, receiving, stocking, truck loading, employee training, disciplinary actions, terminations, facility and equipment maintenance, and achieving EBITDA targets. Additionally, the position involves supervising and training warehouse staff, while providing leadership, guidance, and quality assurance to the team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Manages shipping and receiving shifts at the Anchorage warehouse.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for the assigned warehouse team and communicates directly with the Operations Manager and other department managers as needed.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving issues.
  • Ensures the warehouse and its personnel meet or exceed operational standards and achieve budget goals.
  • Regularly reviews KPI standards with supervisors and employees.
  • Budget goals include both financial and volume targets to align with the company's overall objectives.
  • Capable of gathering key information, making decisions, solving problems, and taking responsibility for decisions related to this supervisory role.
  • Plans and prepares work schedules, maintains records of employee schedules and time badges, and uses UltiPro.
  • Builds and maintains professional and positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Conducts daily, weekly, or monthly training or works with supervisors to inspect, evaluate, and ensure compliance with Odom standards across all shifts.
  • Expected to perform tasks related to warehouse job responsibilities.
  • Facilitates meetings with staff and attends supervisory training related to Odom procedures and policies.
  • Ensures timely and accurate completion of Odom Corporation procedures and standards for all aspects of Warehouse Operations and Products.
  • Serves as a technical expert in Odom operational software.
  • Leverages operational software to implement best practices.



Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)required.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of two years warehouse or related experience in the beverage industry. Previous supervisory experience a plus.
  • Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, pallet building, and inventory procedures.
  • Must be forklift and pallet jack certified.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions form groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • This position requires the regular and constant lifting/moving/pulling or pushing of 27-55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs).
  • Employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.



Work Environment



  • This position will be performed in Anchorage, AK.

  • Varying temperature levels as product may be located in a cooler or on the warehouse floor.
  • Occasionally works in high, precarious places, and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, occasionally high due to multiple forklift horns or outside related environmental noises.
