Multi Modality Imaging Technologist $7,500 Sign-On Bonus

Scope of Position

The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist will be required to perform DR plain film x-ray and two or all of the following modalities: MR, ULS, CT, CI, VI. Technologists will be required to provide patient education and quality assessment activities for the Imaging Division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager and/or Associate Director. This position may include the same activities at any of our Imaging Sites.

Position Summary

The Multi-modality position applies in all locations where Imaging Services are provided: University Hospital, East Hospital, The James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Multimodality Imaging provides service to patients for clinical, therapeutic or diagnostic procedures through the use of X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, or IR. Technologist must have experience in multiple modalities or multiple advanced certifications, utilizing the different modalities on a daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH licensure required. Minimum of 6 months experience in at least 2 advanced modalities (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) required.

On going: Maintains registry amp; licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions in all registered modalities.
