Responsibilities

  1. Ability to work effectively with adults with substance abuse behaviors, providing group and individual therapy. Understand, monitor and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and all entities of accreditation.
  2. Ability to work independently in order to develop, recommend and coordinate IOP program designed to maximize effective and efficient treatment of patient care.
  3. Timely, thorough and accurate interpretation of patient related information as related to functional performance.
  4. Knowledge of community resources.
  5. Skill in developing and marketing IOP program to community, payor sources, vendors, and others. May assist or compete authorization for services.
  6. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills are required to communicate and interact with patients, families and the public.
  7. Thorough understanding of and willingness to work within established practice standards and licensing limitations. Interpret mission, policies and critical events. Effectively communicate those interpretations to staff and foster climate that promotes continuous improvement and excellence in client care.
  8. Knowledge of The Joint Commission standards.
  9. Clear, concise and timely documentation skills.
  10. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to with meet the program schedules and fluctuations in census.
  11. Ability to work in behavioral health environment and observe the standards of care needed for patients

Qualifications

Total education and experience: Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Licenses or Certifications: Current licensure by the State of Arkansas. Current LCSW, LPC, LMSW or PhD required. LCSW is preferred
