What You Will Do: The PPD Retail Media lead owns eRetail media strategy for the division with a focus on translating sell-out, marketshare, and profitability objectives into strategy & execution. Working closely with brand media strategists as well as Amazon Le Retail Media teams, the Director will ensure goals are achieved, optimize media, and proactively seek out innovation. Job Duties and Accountabilities * Consolidate eRetail annual planning ensuring all brands use a set of guidelines, metrics, KPIs, tracking and reporting methods, differentiated by retailer partner. * Guides & directs a team HOK/execution resources at the Mullti-Div level to meet annual KPIs & goals * Develop external partnerships with our eRetailers, working closely with media counterparts. Provides a group recommendation on first to market pilots & golden rules for building short and long-term business goals * Develop an executive summary/dashboard of metrics that measure performance unique to our eRetailer media environment * Generate insights by Retailer, Category, & Brand across that inform future investment strategy, campaign creation, & campaign execution * Partner with divisional counterparts to share insights to optimize eRetailer marketing spend * Monitor and share industry news, retail marketing trends, and cross-divisional insights. * Manages roll-up of eRetailer media budgets & ensure resources are used in an optimal manner & within agreed expenditure budgets * Responsible for upskilling the division when new strategies are available, developed, and rolled out within the group Key Challenges, Issues and Complexity In an ever-changing digital environment, in order to be responsive to business needs, you must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. As a single category division, you must have a strong data-driven POV that can be clearly communicated, supported and defended. Organization Structure and Key Working Relationships Reports in to VP, PPD Media and works closely with PPD Brand Media Strategists Interfaces with multi-div, division and brand stakeholders as a key point of contact and group expert for eRetail media Key point of contact for Media Agency (BCL) and eRetail Media partner account teams Liases with Finance, Marketing, and Media Agencies to ensure all media investments are correctly captured for each retailer campaign and program What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * 8-10 Years of experience within eretail media * Extensive experience in large-scale media buying, including: * Amazon Ads: AAC, Amazon DSP, Managed Service * MS Office - Advanced Excel & PPT skills * Communication: Must be able to present complex material to a diverse group of marketers & stakeholders in both written & verbal form. Ability to interact & present to all levels of the organization, including top management, sometimes taking complex concepts and simplifying * Analytical: Must be comfortable with large data sets and have advanced analytical skills for deep analysis of search trends, campaign performance, competitive analysis, & an understanding of KPI optimization opportunities * Collaborative: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cross-functionally between Ecomm, marketing, CRM, agency of record, global & corporate to ensure maximum performance of campaigns * Technical Skills - strong understanding of advertising products; retailer offerings & media landscape * Clear understanding of each eRetailers O+O journey & can influence how/where media can impact customer and consumer goals.
