WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Project Delivery Office team is undertaking multiple complex strategic initiatives as part of RBC's ongoing plan to improve business objectives. In this role you will be responsible for planning and managing successful implementation of projects. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time, budget, schedule, scope, and quality. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Monitor and control activities according to plan.
- Leads, directs and oversees activities on planning, delivery and implementation to ensure the project's strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope and budget.
- Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate
- Develop and execute on end to end plans and plan and execute all communication related to these.
- Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.
- Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
- Facilitates strong project governance and execution assurance processes
- Manages project financials
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have:
- 5+ years of Experience working as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects
- Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile
- Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
Nice-to-have
- Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI - PBA)
- Masters Certificate in Business Analysis
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA-CBAP or CCBA)
- Agile Certification (CSM, CPO)
- Trading systems experience
