KARL STORZ is seeking a highly organized and empathetic HR Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR Operations team, you'll provide exceptional support to employees throughout the leave process, ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee leave requests from start to finish (FMLA, ADA, company-sponsored programs)
  • Ensure policy compliance and stay updated on legislative changes
  • Communicate clearly with employees, managers, and external vendors
  • Maintain accurate records; generate reports on leave trends, usage and compliance metrics
  • Collaborate on HR projects and training initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of HR experience (leave management/employee relations focus)
  • Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, ADA) and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and leave management software (a plus)
