We are actively seeking an experienced Instructor of Civil Engineering Housing Management who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology Civil Engineering School (AFIT/CE) at WPAFB, OH. AFIT/CE is the Air Force's sole provider of professional continuing education courses in civil engineering. With more than 70 courses and seminars, the school plans, develops, and conducts resident and distance learning courses and programs to satisfy the professional continuing educational needs of civil engineer customers from the Air Force, DoD, and other federal agencies. More than 5,500 students receive education from AFIT/CE each year. The school currently offers Air Force courses ranging in length from two days to 12 weeks in the disciplines of technical civil engineer courses, environmental, engineering management, and housing. It is also the leader in distance and blended learning education for the civil engineering workforce, providing the tools, skills, and abilities to manage the entire spectrum of a civil engineering expertise through various media and forums. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
Develop, maintain, and teach Air Force Civilian Housing Management course material in residence, on site, and via Distance Learning (DL) modes.
