Brief Summary of Work for this Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Research Assistant to support ongoing sociological research projects. The candidate will assist in data collection, analysis, and literature reviews, contributing to research that explores social patterns, behaviors, and cultural phenomena.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and academic papers.
  • Collaborate with the research team in brainstorming sessions and project meetings.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the research process.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Sociology or a related field (or current enrollment in such a program).
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
