What you will do:

• Ensures that all personnel comply with the security procedures and safety requirements.
• Detects and prevents unlawful behavior.
• Controls gates at point of entry and exit to work site.
• Provides relevant passes for all persons, vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the worksite
• Ensures accurate documentation of tools and equipment entering the compound.
• Regularly reviews and updates security procedures to ensure they are in line with international standards.
• Scans and searches all personnel, bags and vehicles when leaving the premises.
• Ensures that the workforce does not enter prohibited areas.

What you will bring:

• 8 - 10 years experience
• Diploma in Security Management
• A minimum of ten years' experience
• Security experience in a heavy industry
• Excellent observational skills
• Extensive knowledge of security policies, procedures and practices
• Supervisory management skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Conflict Resolution skills
