Job Overview:

This position serves as a short term staff assistant in the assigned area with the goal of gaining knowledge of and business expertise in the subject matter area. The ranges of duties include but are not limited to: administrative, clerical, research and analysis, and service/support. Applicability of each of these types of duties will depend on the service line, business unit, or functional area in which the intern works. The objective is to provide a practical cooperative learning experience for someone in a student role who has an interest in the healthcare field.

Job Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an approved program for specific field of study in a related field

Excellent communication and organization skills

Ability to work in a professional business environment

Up to 1 year experience in a related field
