Director of Finance Transformation - Regal Rexnord Power Efficiency Solutions

Purpose:

Create and implement the blueprint for a world class finance organization with an organization structure that balances high quality finance/business partnership and a secure control environment with cost efficiency, with tools and systems that allows for timely and insightful analysis and reporting, and with processes that maximizes standard work and on time completion of deliverables

Outcomes:

Create a Blueprint for PES finance organization that defines

The organization structure detailing the quantity of FTE resources for FP&A, Controlling, Commercial and Operation finance, their solid and dotted reporting lines, and if the role should be onshore vs BCC

The competencies required of candidates in each role

The activities, responsibilities and outcomes required from each role

Connect with and leverage work being done by Transformation resources in corporate and other segments and incorporate in PES transformation blue print ensuring alignment and standardization across the different finance organizations where possible Work with each function in finance to understand the inefficiencies that exists and opportunities to automate, eliminate or centralize manual, duplicative or unnecessary work and socialize blueprint structure for inputs Evaluate the current vs future state and map out an aggressive but achievable timeline to execute the blueprint and optimize what, where and how activities are performed Drive and track change plan to meet deadlines and support execution at multiple levels of the organization. Accelerate where possible or develop recovery actions where milestones are missed Achieve Top quartile cost structure balancing the ultimate end state with organization's ability to fund change with creative solutions Develop a current state baseline and diligently track the impact on quality and cost of the transformation program using both financial and VoC feedback to assess and substantiate the impact

  • Extensive experience in diverse controlling and FP&A environments with exposure to best in class structures and practices
  • Natural tendency to evaluate current state and drive continuous improvement
  • High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn and broaden your horizons through new experiences, formal education and personal research
  • Resiliency to compassionately drive difficult changes in the organization, putting on enough pressure to push changes through in the time period required while balancing change with the need for the organization to still meet day to day deliverables
  • High EQ and excellent communicator able to use verbal and written communication to clearly and timely communicate the nature and timing of changes and the benefits of the transformation in a way that creates buy in and builds engagement in the finance organization and other stakeholders across the enterprise

  • Ability to see the big picture and objectively debate conflicting objectives to find the most suitable solutions
  • Effectively Interacts at all levels of the organization with ability to communicate complex concepts in clear and simple language
  • Absolute integrity to build trust and high level of Emotional Maturity will be key enablers to build your network across organization levels and functions needed to effectively execute actions
  • Excellent Organization and Planning capabilities and ability to run complex projects with multiple deliverables and conflicting priorities
