About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Bilingual Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team! As a Bilingual Behavioral Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate behavioral health services to our diverse patient population. You will work closely with our medical team to provide integrated care to our patients and ensure the highest quality of care. Your expertise in behavioral health will be essential in helping our patients achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice in the District of Columbia
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Amharic
  • Experience working in an integrated care setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with underserved populations
  • Experience providing tele-behavioral health services
  • Experience working with electronic health records

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide evidence-based behavioral health interventions to patients, including individual, group, and family therapy
  • Collaborate with medical providers and care teams to provide integrated care to patients
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients

Skills:

As a Bilingual Behavioral Health Specialist, you will utilize your strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices to provide high-quality behavioral health services to our patients. You will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with care teams. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in providing integrated care to our patients. You will also use your strong organizational and time management skills to manage a busy caseload and maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
