Job Description

Torch Technologies is currently seeking a self-motivated Logistician/Property Management Specialist. This role involves managing property and logistics processes in support of the US Army at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The candidate will be responsible for tracking, receiving, and issuing equipment, as well as working with various Government departments and contractors to ensure proper accounting and documentation of all assets.

Responsibilities:



  • Implement property procedures to track material purchase lists.
  • Receive, store, and issue items to personnel.
  • Validate packing slips against purchase orders and electronically receive materials.
  • Assist with the return of defective or damaged items and provide vendor escort.
  • Prepare and manage Government transfer documentation and turn-in forms (DA Form 3161's, DA Forms 2062's, and DD Forms 1348's).
  • Ensure proper signatures are obtained and final documentation is properly filed.
  • Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) and ensure accurate accounting between the Government and Contractor.
  • Track equipment replacements per contractual requirements under 52.245-1 and maintain Contractor Property Management System (CPMS) records.
  • Report discrepancies between CPMS records and Government's quarterly Smart Form update.
  • Provide direct support to the US Army Product Support Manager, including:

    • Develop and maintain the Materiel Fielding Plan.
    • Execute equipment hand-off and pre-fielding check-out of systems for hand-off to units.
    • Ensure systems/assets are integrated into the logistics management program throughout their lifecycle.
    • Coordinate and manage shipping and inventory documentation for program assets.
    • Assist with inventories, hand receipt preparation, and property book transactions.
    • Ensure efficient workflow and resource utilization for improved operational and equipping readiness.



Job Requirements

  • BS or BA degree (years of experience may be substituted for the degree).
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong understanding of Army Regulation 770-2, Materiel Fielding, and DA Pam 770-2, Procedures for Materiel Fielding.
  • Knowledge of ASTS Inventory Database.
  • Knowledge of DPAS Inventory Database.
