The purpose of the Software Licensing Manager is to provide an accurate account of technology asset lifecycle costs and risks to maximize the business value of technology strategy, architecture, funding, contractual and sourcing decisions. What You'll Do
- Drive efficiencies and cost-savings, continually through software metering and monitoring and as part of the annual business planning process.
- Support vendor selection and RFI / RFP processes for software and SaaS solutions alongside IT Procurement; negotiating terms and conditions by working closely with stakeholders and Group functions.
- Support Vendor Management with supplier reviews
- Support IT Service Management drive the development of a mature software catalog and the interface with software asset management.
- Identify and lead improvement programs through SAM, service delivery improvements, process efficiencies and procurement policies.
- Delivering a pro-active, professional and highly commercial service, responsive to the needs of clients and operational service delivery:
* Expert authority for software asset management, regulations and practice generally and leading expert authority across the business for on premise and cloud software asset commercial landscape * Maintaining accurate and timely management and performance information to enable organization wide assessment of IT procurement performance and direct responsibility for decisions affecting areas of spend under their responsibility. This will include assessing and resolving issues and risks and upholding excellent standards of governance. * Manage license true ups, license excess movements, by using ServiceNow SAM Pro * Financial efficiency, cost savings and risk mitigation through license management - Tracking Financial impact and Monitoring software compliance. Leading Belron's response to software audits.
- Escalating issues to the Head of IT Sourcing, Procurement & Vendor Management by exception

What You'll Need
- 7-9 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required
- 4-6 years 5+ years' experience within Software License Management/ Software Procurement or Software Asset Management
- In depth knowledge of Tier 1 software vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe and VMware
- Deep understanding of managing software across SaaS/PaaS/IaaS
- Able to complete software true ups, ELPs and software renewals
