Role Overview:

Critical role to support Eagle Strategies Advisors/Financial Planners engage and delivery Financial Planning Contracts and Plans to their clients. This role will assume the responsibility to review planning engagements, ensure that plans meet the specified contractual obligations and upon delivery of plans review that terms have been met. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to the advisors to ensure they have a seamless experience when onboarding and delivering financial plans. Provide insight and expertise to streamline home office best practices, identify areas of operational improvements and data gaps to be supported by Senior Leadership and Planning Consulting Teams.

What You'll Do:

Planning agreements received are in compliance with the Eagle Strategies rules governing the agreements.

  • Plans are complete per the agreement and within the allotted time frames.
  • Review submitted plans for accuracy and completeness.
  • Advisors are compensated timely and accurately for the planning they have done.
  • Process and record all customer complaints regarding the plan and
  • Process refunds if required.


Advisor Interaction: Communication and Advisor Support:

  • Timely responses to Advisors around the business submission process.
  • Clear and distinct written and verbal communications to Advisors around challenges and issues that may have come up with their work product.
  • Problem resolution surrounding communicated issues.
  • Training of Advisors and their staff on the planning process.


Planning Process Improvements:

  • As technology improves the need to refine and implement new technologies is critical to improve efficiencies. This position will require thought and execution around process improvement.


Audit and Quality:

  • The business Eagle Strategies engages in is highly regulated. As such, Eagle is audited by a number of Organization, both inside and outside of New York Life. The position will have responsibility around ensuring all process work is done in compliance with regulatory and company rules. The position is also responsible for gathering and supplying all information requested during our various reviews.


Business Continuity Liaison:

  • FPO will manage and catalogue all records related to third-party pay for service contracts, business resiliency and continuity responsibilities and contingency plans for the Financial Planning and Commissions areas.
  • Ad Hoc Requests from WM Leadership and Backup for Critical Planning Functions.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • CFP preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, MS Project a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of Financial Planning
  • Prior exposure to the process associated tasks with creating and publishing various types of operational documents and collateral - including process flows and training materials
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$70,000 - $85,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

Please note: This role requiresFINRA licensedand/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
