SUMMARY:

We are looking for an Event & Retail Manager to join our Chicago leadership team! They will be leading and coaching a team of marketing representatives, and helping the team improve performance. This role is responsible for driving non-media lead generation and brand awareness locally through in-person experiential marketing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new team members.
  • In-field coaching.
  • Manages department calendar - includes negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space for events.
  • Oversees participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities.
  • Expense and P&L management of Events & Showroom; controls spend within budget.
  • Collaborates with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR & Finance
  • Communicates results and strategy with management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
  • 3-5 years' experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage resources (time & budget) to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to analyze effectiveness of events, sponsorships, and local programs.
  • Ability to understand role of marketing communications, sales promotion, and advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability with MS Office suite.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $55,994-$71,392.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
