In this role, you will:



  • Serve as a design subject matter expert to all within Centric Consulting, which means regularly communicating with stakeholders to set expectations and present design thinking and rationale.
  • Lead initiatives to evolve the Centric brand look and feel across all digital and print channels.
  • Maintain, update and modernize brand materials, including brand guidelines, sales presentations, one-pagers, RFP responses, advertisements and other marketing collateral.
  • Build, cultivate and maintain a strong design network. This includes:

    • Establishing a bench of design resources/contractors to support department needs as they ebb and flow.
    • Managing the recruitment, vetting, hiring and training process of new contractors.
    • Assisting in the sourcing of other creative vendors including video, animation, and photography, while also managing project deliverables of those vendors as needed to ensure brand alignment.
    • Inspiring, motivating and educating graphic designers to deliver innovative design concepts that generate business value while ensuring brand consistency.


  • Handle the design request intake and fulfillment process. This includes:

    • Vetting project and task requests as they come into the queue to determine needs, lead times, determining assignment (whether you'll keep or assign to a contractor), and communicating with stakeholders until completion.
    • Assigning project work, as needed, to contractors and handling design feedback and questions.
    • Collaborating with other marketing team members using our project management software (Asana) and Microsoft Teams to ensure project success.


  • Serve as the lead designer charged with taking complex ideas and translating them into powerful designs across web, email, social and print mediums. This includes:

    • PowerPoint Presentations
    • Infographics
    • Whitepapers
    • Blog Graphics
    • Social Media Graphics
    • Landing Pages
    • Emails
    • Advertising Campaigns


  • Craft compelling creative concepts that balance strategy, design creativity and alignment to business and marketing goals.
  • Organize and maintain brand asset library and all design guidelines, files and processes, stock photo repository, etc.
  • Work at a fast pace on multiple projects without compromising quality.
  • Use resources efficiently, meet deadlines, and keep others informed of work plans and progress toward goals.



Who You Are:



  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in marketing design; agency experience and/or in-house B2B highly preferred. Project and people management experience required.
  • Must provide an online portfolio that demonstrates brand, marketing and design work.
  • Bachelor's degree in a communications or creative field required.
  • Experience with creating visuals and designing master templates in Microsoft PowerPoint required.
  • Excellent knowledge of and hands-on skills in the latest software versions across the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Acrobat) and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Experience with CSS, HTML and marketing automation platforms (Marketo) preferred.
  • Ability to ideate and execute on-brand design deliverables, communicating design rationale clearly and effectively.
  • Organization, flexibility, and a passion for graphic design and marketing.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business goals
  • Ability to gracefully defend your design decisions to senior leadership and advocate for quality work that supports brand and business objectives.
  • Problem solving mastery with ability to react to directional changes and ambiguity quickly and positively across multiple projects
  • Polished illustration, photography, and creative motion graphics skills are a plus.
