The Role:

Suffolk's Senior Designer is a strategic, creative thinker who is passionate about making an impact through design. In this role, you'll design a wide range of branded communications and content, leveraging big ideas to stand out in a crowded market. We're looking for someone who puts strategy first, communicates clearly, and runs alongside the latest trends in marketing, design and digital media. With your strong creative vision, you bring stunning visuals to life.

You'll also be part of a tight-knit, ambitious creative team that is producing award-winning work in several mediums, including print, digital and video. With our designers, videographers and writers, you'll deliver on pioneering ideas that are transforming the construction industry.



Responsibilities

    Produce work that resonates and continues to raise the bar for our brand
  • Translate marketing communication strategies into clear and compelling visual design solutions. Then present those ideas and design rationale to stakeholders
  • Work hand-in-hand with Creative Director to ensure brand consistency and design quality across all marketing channels
  • Deliver innovative ideas by collaborating with the broader team including writers, designers, and videographers.
  • Manage multiple projects and adhere to schedules from concept through execution
  • Communicate seamlessly with cross-functional partners.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the graphic design field, agencies or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
  • Conceptual thinking, excellent design skills and an ability to deliver solutions that work across the range of media channels
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of printing (preparing print-ready files for vendors)
  • Be well-versed in current design, technology trends, social media, and all phases of a project from concept through production
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills
  • Work with meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and timelines
  • Capable of accepting creative direction and working in a team environment
  • Have a positive attitude and a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and responsibility

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
