Ochsner Health, the largest not-for-profit academic health system in the Gulf South is seeking a fourth Fellowship-Trained Pediatric Urologist to join our expanding team at Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans. In addition to fellowship training, candidates should have, or be eligible for, the ABU certificate of added qualification in Pediatric Urology. Program Highlights Include:

Department of Urology Highlights The successful candidate will join 3 pediatric urologists and an APP and benefit from collaboration with 29 adult urologists and 10 APPs, system-wide. The department also has a growing multidisciplinary myelodysplasia clinic which meets monthly and includes a general pediatrician, pediatric urology, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric neurosurgery, and social work support. Ochsner's state-of-the-art operating theaters include 3 Davinci robotic suites as well as a newly opened pediatric surgery OR and ASC. Ochsner Hospital for Children is the only children's hospital in Louisiana or Mississippi ranked by US News and World Reports. Located on the campus of Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, our 113-bed children's hospital has a 46-bed pediatric unit, 54-bed Level III-C NICU, 26-bed Level-1PICU/CVICU and 4 bed EMU. For more than 75 years, Ochsner has offered a level of pediatric care unmatched in Louisiana with more advanced capabilities than any other children's hospital in the region. Ochsner's rapidly growing Department of Pediatrics is comprised of more than 140 physicians. The group is the Gulf South region's leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The hospital offers a full range of pediatric care from primary to quaternary care, with services offered in all subspecialties including advanced gastroenterology/hepatology, orthopedic surgery, oncology, and heart, liver and bone marrow transplantation.
