Position Overview: As a Heavy Equipment Master Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment operates at peak performance and meets our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve complex technical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Master Technician Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in heavy equipment technology preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Master technician certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy equipment brands and models.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license
