Position Description

As a Human Resources Generalist for Advanced Thermal Systems (ATS) at Modine Manufacturing, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR function within the ATS business. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR tasks aimed at promoting employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's success while growing your HR career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.This position may work closely with other verticals and HR peers in the Performance Technologies segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR services including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation and health benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and personnel transactions.
  • Represent the employer at community and recruiting events.
  • Address employee questions and concerns, including those related to safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
  • Develop HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action.
  • Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, and coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Conduct employee investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage tasks in SuccessFactors.
  • Promote a positive work culture and employee morale through various initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Communicate policy updates and ensure compliance across the organization.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Facilitate internal communications related to HR initiatives, events, and announcements.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources Generalist role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday)
  • Ability to work independently and confidentially with limited direction
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated successful track record working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is required
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
