LOCATION: Provident Hospital of Cook County 500 E. 51st. Chicago, IL 60615 DEPARTMENT: Recovery Room Nursing SHIFT: 8:00am - 6:30pm ***Salary is commensurate with years of RN experience. JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Clinician is a professional care provider with above average clinical skills, competence, and organizational proficiency in order to direct patient care in the Intraoperative Environment. The Nurse Clinician develops a broad clinical and operational knowledge base and works in collaboration with the Physician groups providing care to the Surgical Patient. Serves as a liaison between Nursing Management and staff in the efficient and effective utilization of the Operating Room (OR). Assists in developing/implementing departmental protocols for scheduling of the surgical patient. The Nurse Clinician assists in the planning, organizing and monitor orientation of new personnel in the Intraoperative Environment. Typical Duties
