OVERVIEW

The Supply Chain Manager COE reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain Services and is responsible for supporting, identifying new ways of working and project manage all global activities for Procurement and Supply Chain Materials Management department. The role will have up to five direct reports and will support early career rotational program(s). The COE (Center of Excellence) will be responsible for standardizing and implementing reporting / metrics capabilities for the department, along with SOP's. This group will also be a second tier support for SAP, Ariba, BW, SAC, Hana, BWP HANA, Supplier Enablement and utilization of PowerBi. This role will support and/or lead team for new project initiatives for Procurement or Materials Management. The last area of focus is improving ways of working and looking at all functional tools that enable the department's efficiencies.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Responsible for all procurement, materials management, demand planning processes, and supporting technologies across the company.
  • Manage, develop, and own all Metric/KPI's for entire department
  • Accountable for understanding how source to pay processes and technologies integrate across the network. Will be responsible for designing future connectivity.
  • Architect of the 3 - 5 year vision for improving Source-to-Pay processes.
  • Identify industry best practices for developing long-term, meaningful 12 - 60 month plans from Source to Pay and Inventory Management.
  • Perform deep analysis on departmental compliance as well as identifying root cause analysis for Inbound Supply Chain and Procurement
  • Implement Procurement & Materials Management process changes and work with department heads in the business to standardize where feasible
  • Lead the Source-to-Pay practices across the organization and work with COE, Supply Chain, IT, procurement, operations, and finance.
  • Will work cross-functionally within the GPO inner departments, company, and globally across regions for business process optimization.
  • Process governance:

    • Form a companywide strategic roadmap to improve planning capabilities.
    • Deploy best practices in source to pay across geographies as appropriate.
    • Align strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy and different parts of the business.
    • Effectively support change management and adoption of new processes.
    • Hold teams accountable for departmental compliance


  • Process design:

    • Critically assess the current and future processes - maturity, governance, stability.
    • Design the roadmap to improve planning capabilities that includes process, analytical framework, technology, and training.
    • Align changes to the process as required by other changes (e.g., organizational changes in commercial or finance, company structure, M&A, etc.).


  • Measurement and continuous improvement:

    • Define key planning metrics and report on performance across geographies.
    • Track benefits and improvement across the business.


  • Channels continuous improvement ideas across the COE and selects suitable ones to turn into projects
  • Technology enablement:

    • Identify and research technology and analytics that support business goals and objectives.
    • Leverage leading technologies including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to drive efficiencies and competitive advantage across planning
    • Manage the investigation and business case to implement technology/ analytics upgrades
    • Support the implementations of new technology related to planning





WORK EXPERIENCES



  • 8+ years in Supply Chain with specific experience in either supply or demand planning, S&OP, Procurement, and or Materials Management functions.
  • Understand the foundational processes from requisition to check process



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
