Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Assistant to the Director Job Summary Serves as the executive assistant to the Director of Student Counseling Services (SCS) with staff management, budget/financial support, report writing, committee representation, data preparation, information dissemination, scheduling, and correspondence. Alongside the Associate Director of Clinical Services, works to oversee the daily office operations and supervision of all SCS support staff. The SCS is a large unit within the Division of Student Affairs, which requires the incumbent to make independent decisions daily. Additional Information Student Counseling Services maintains accreditation through two external bodies, the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS) and the American Psychological Association (APA), specifically our doctoral level training program. This position is involved in the maintenance and management of these accreditations. Additionally, this position requires commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and active participation in departmental DEI initiatives. Salary Rate / Pay Rate $20.11 - $25.36 per hour Required Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1.
