Danone North America is looking for a Material Handler in Minster, Ohio.

If you are hired as a Material Handler in Minster, you will work in either our raw material Warehouse or in our Distribution Cooler. Driving a stand-up forklift is required and certification is completed on site. The position combines computer work, various warehousing activities such as picking product, unloading and loading trucks, and working as a team to achieve challenging production goals. Danone's fast-paced environment requires successful employees to be on their feet most of their 12-hour shift, to be able to multi-task, and to have a high attention to quality and working safely. In this position you will wear a free uniform that includes steel toed shoes, safety eyewear, ear plugs, hairnet, and bump cap.

The Material Handler base rate is now 23.90/hr! and night shift employees receive an additional $1.00/hr shift premium. About You

The ideal candidate will have:

    High School degree or GED (required)
  • Open schedule ability. This means you are able to weekends and holidays when scheduled. Our employees work a 3-2-2 schedule.
  • Computer Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • The ability to perform physical demands of:
    • A fast-paced environment
    • 12-hour shifts
    • Continuous walking or standing
    • Repetitive minimal to moderate lifting (50 lbs)
    • Working in a cold environment (in distribution cooler)
    • Working at heights (in warehouse)
  • Openness to learn and share with others
  • Doer who takes ownership of our product excellence and their working area
  • Empowered individual who proactively pursues improvements in Quality, Safety & Operations
  • Previous forklift and warehousing experience are highly desirable
