Job Overview:

The ESA Senior Operations Coordinator will be responsible for oversight of the payment system, fiscal data tracking and reporting, compliance, special projects, and ongoing support for operational efficiency, and effectiveness as it relates to the ESA Program. This position contributes to the Best for All strategic plan by supporting student success through foundational work in school choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all participating schools understand and follow ESA requirements.
  • Ensure that all participating families understand and follow ESA requirements.
  • Review expenditure requests.
  • Ensure that all expenses are allowable under ESA.
  • Collect, calculate, analyze, and report ESA fiscal data.
  • Develop training materials and internal/external procedures for ESA disbursements.
  • Assist with training schools and families on e-Wallet.
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with other department coordinators to support schools and families.
  • Ability to develop systems that improve workflow and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Skilled in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • Experience balancing multiple projects and deadlines and the ability to effectively and efficiently complete assignments with a high-volume workload.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and experience equivalent to four years of full-time professional educational, instructional, or supervisory/administrative work.

Substitution of Graduate Education for Experience: Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years.
