Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Strategic MILCON Facilities Planner to join a team to assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

Responsibilities:

The Candidate shall provide direct support with the integrated planning, requirements management, and program implementation management support to assigned civilian and military personnel. The contractor will serve as the lead point of contact for all planning, initiatives, and requirements related to ensuring current and future workspace and facilities are managed to support all assigned and future personnel within the 350 SWW. The contractor should have experience in facility planning, program management and space management for a large military organization. The contractor will:



  • Provide strategic planning for the hiring of personnel integrated with future facility completion
  • Provide strategic planning for the security requirements for future facility completion
  • Build reports, develop presentations, set up run and brief all materials in meetings that may include general officers, senior leaders, stakeholders, etc. as needed
  • Advise on changes to organizational structures, charts, mission and function statements to implement reorganization in program administration
  • Coordinate and recommend space assignments to leadership
  • Develop plans and procedures that assure product quality in a cost-effective manner to include estimating costs, coordinating with staff and management personnel, and conducting all phases of the assigned planning projects
  • Assist real property personnel in facility utilization and space management
  • Assign work projects and/or specific assignments, objectives and time limitations and discuss changes in policy and requirements and inform senior leaders of potential controversial findings, issues, or problems with widespread impact
  • Establish criteria to measure and/or predict the attainment of program or organizational goals and objectives

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required

Must have a BS Degree with 3 to 10 years of experience; experience may be substituted for educational shortfalls

Must have a Top-Secret clearance, and be eligible for SCI.
