Overview The Supervisor - Warehousing & Logistics is responsible for the daily warehousing and logistics operations in support of PPL Electric Utilities. The position is responsible and accountable for the following core functions provided by Logistics Services:
This position directs and supervises bargaining unit and contractor personnel in execution of the functions referenced above. This is a Third shift position: Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am. Responsibilities
All other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year for year basis is required. Experience Minimum of five years' experience in warehousing operations is required. Thorough understanding of logistics operations and processes. Working knowledge of commonly used PC software applications, including Microsoft Office products. Working knowledge of order fulfillment and warehouse management systems. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and tactfully with personnel at multiple levels within the organization. Action-oriented mindset with demonstrated leadership skills.
