We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our Front Desk team as the Front Office Manager. The ideal candidate uses their engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests. While helping to lead out front desk team with checking in, registering guests.

This role plays an important part in our culture:

Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, which includes VIPS, repeat guests, all packages, and any special requests

  • Help to resolve problems through recovery when things aren't quite right

Teamwork:

  • Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Works closely with the Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to communicate and coordinate the day

What do we need from you to be successful in this role?

  • Manage direct reports by ensuring Associates understand employment practices, recommending employment decisions and corrective action, supporting performance management, and implementing discipline
  • Customer service is our top priority, consistently being awarded JD Powers Customer service awards. Being on our team means you have a strong desire to make an impact on other people
  • This role interacts with guests and team members all day, they must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with an outgoing and engaging personality.
  • The front office manager is at the center of attention to all hotel guests and requires someone to be able to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our teams must be flexible with respect to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

Required Prior Experience:

Minimum 2 years of hospitality, front desk experience,

Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory experience

Preferred Prior Experience:

2 years of night audit experience

Required Technology:

Basic computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, and Teams

Physical:

Able to lift 50lbs occasionally

Able to lift 10lbs regularly

Able to stand/or walk for duration of scheduled shift

Other:

Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
