APPLY Centers & Institutes Assistant-Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration's Centers & Institutes About the Centers & Institutes The Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration's Centers & Institutes (C&Is) provide a hub for students, faculty, and industry leaders to connect. There are six C&Is, including the Center for Hospitality Research, Center for Real Estate and Finance, Cornell Center for Innovative Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations, Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship, Cornell Institute for Food and Beverage Management, and Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures. Collectively, the C&Is are designed to promote industry growth and enrich the educational curriculum by providing opportunities for students to put their learning into practice and work directly with corporate members. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Assistant to support multiple Centers & Institutes (C&Is) at Cornell University, including the Center for Hospitality Research, Center for Real Estate and Finance, Cornell Center for Innovative Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations, and Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while balancing the needs of various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) endowed position that is based in Ithaca, NY. This position follows a 3:2 campus-to-home hybrid work arrangement. This hybrid work arrangement is subject to change at any time. Typical work hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 8am-3:30pm on Fridays.
