Elwyn is currently seeking a Clinical Manager to be responsible for the planning, educating, monitoring and improvement of the overall clinical services delivered to the individuals participating in Adult IDD Day and Work services.

SALARY: $67,000 annually

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Develops and maintains the Behavioral Support Plan (BSP) in accordance with funding regulations
  • Responsible for the completion of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA's) on each individual upon admission and as needed throughout course of treatment
  • Participates and provides recommendations to assist in formulating the client's Individual Program Plan (IPP)/Behavior Support Plan and attending residential/day planning meetings for all individuals on caseload as a member of an Interdisciplinary team supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
  • Establishes and maintains behavior support intervention information for individuals and ensures materials are available to implement behavior support plans
  • Administers standardized psychological assessments, such as dementia screenings
  • Prepares annual psychological reports in accordance with Elwyn policy and licensing regulations
  • Develops and implements BSP based on FBA's, Functional Analysis, Preference Assessments and/or Treatment Assessments
  • Collaborates with outside Behavioral Specialists who have created Behavior Support Plans for non-residential program participants.
  • Completes functional behavioral analysis through observation and interview to determine the probable causes and maintaining factors involved in a maladaptive behavior
  • Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure treatment effectiveness.
  • Track data and overall progress of the operational defined target behaviors on BSP using Microsoft excel
  • Creates training materials and educates staff on use of alternative communication systems as needed
  • Trains staff in the implementation of the Behavioral Support Plans, de-escalation techniques, engagement strategies and other ABA related topics
  • Ensures that all BSP's meet regulatory requirements and follow Elwyn protocols including Human Rights Committee Review, and monthly summaries as needed
  • Interfaces with the Psychiatry treatment team to enable medication decisions based on behavioral outcomes and attend psychiatry appointments when available
  • Provides individual behavioral support on an ongoing basis as needed
  • Observes clients in all environments to collect data as needed
  • Attends administrative staff meetings as required
  • Participates in parent/family conferences by providing psychological and behavioral updates regarding the individual's progress
  • Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and crisis intervention techniques using agency-trained protocols
  • Responds to behavioral crisis situations as needed
  • Develops and oversees skill acquisition plans in accordance with each individual's ISP.


QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Masters' degree in psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field
  • Two (2) years' experience in the field supporting individuals with an intellectual/developmental disability and/or medically complex diagnosis
  • Course work in behavior analysis preferred
  • Familiarity with application of behavioral analytic treatment approaches
  • Knowledge and ability to administer standardized psychological and behavioral assessments
  • Ability to analyze and report on behavioral data
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, families, guardians and the general public
  • Must possess a knowledge of current practices and regulations pertaining to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Must be able to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques using agency-trained protocols
  • Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated basic experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; report-writer experience preferred
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record preferred
  • Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record
