We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior IAM Software Development Manager - Director to join our Information Security Division - Cyber Identity and Access Management team. This role is located in Lake Mary (Northern Orlando), FL or Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID. (Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from office. - Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers and security specialists to achieve project and organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
- Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- Technical Expertise & Development:
- Oversee the development and implementation of IAM software solutions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions into existing and new software systems.
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures related to IAM and software development.
- Information Security & IAM Strategy:
- Lead the design and implementation of IAM systems, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and more.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements by implementing and managing appropriate IAM technology control measures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a liaison between development teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on security and development goals.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and IAM risks to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with product managers, architects, and other leaders to prioritize and implement IAM initiatives.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in information security or related technology experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role, is required.
- Proven experience in information security and IAM, including designing and implementing IAM solutions in enterprise environments is required.
- Strong programming skills and experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes are required.
- Deep understanding of security principles, identity federation, SSO, MFA, and directory services such as LDAP, Active Directory, MS Entra ID is required.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX) is required.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, or similar IAM solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud security and cloud-native IAM solutions (e.g., MS Entra ID).
- Experience in secure coding practices, DevSecOps, and implementing security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead diverse teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
