Berry Receiver

• Determine and segregate fruit by variety, quality and end use.
• Identify and segregate fruit by classification for use such as but not limited to export, domestic, fresh fruit, process fruit (for immediate pack/processing and storage for later pack/processing).
• Identify non-usable fruit due to pests/pest damage, non-fruit contaminants and excessive unusable fruit.
• Work with Ag Supply to maintain strict adherence to Pesticide approval/Protective screening process.
• Work with Cartography to verify bog identifications.
• Weigh incoming and outgoing truck loads as required (fruit deliveries, tankers, berry trucks to/from coolers and freezers, trash, compost etc.).
• May perform duties of other receiving station personnel as required.
• Operate, maintain, clean, adjust, and perform routine maintenance including lubrication, PMs and changeover assist.
• Handle materials, raw, packaging and finished goods either by hand or with material handling equipment.
• May be required to operate and maintain other plant equipment.
• Must maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records as required.
• Working knowledge of GBS and Pesticide Report Approval Status.
• Clean areas to encompass all general cleaning inside and out to include equipment machinery, pipes, drains, grounds and buildings.
• Maintain, repair and handle harvest containers.
• Interact directly with vendors and suppliers.
• Operate company truck over the roads between plants, outside vendors and growers.
• Make daily checks of truck equipment.
• Will be forklift certified.
