Shift Hours:

Sunday: 2pm-complete; Monday-Thursday: 2:30pm-complete

Please note, flexibility in schedule will be required based on business needs, this can include working different hours or days.

This position is located onsite at our facility in Salt Lake City, UT. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.

The primary role of the Warehouse Manager is to manage the Warehouse Supervisors and their teams. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of warehouse operations in a radio frequency (RF)-enabled or non-RF-enabled environment, managing warehouse personnel and ensuring compliance with company, federal and state regulations regarding safety while working with controlled substances, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous and flammable materials. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Responsible for associates in the warehouse; tracks attendance, coaches and leads associates with a view to employee growth and development, monitors performance, and manages overtime and other compensation changes.

  • Directs warehouse activities to ensure efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing inventory.

  • Maintains process management, productivity measures, and quality controls.

  • Reviews, tracks and analyzes critical success measures and compares the results with the targets on a regular basis. Develops and plans for improvement in areas such as order filling errors, late deliveries and overall service levels. Evaluates associates' performance in achieving standards.

  • Responds to production problems by implementing solutions.

  • Enforces compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety roles and government regulations.

  • Studies current and future needs of the company as it relates to the management of receiving, stocking, inventory, returns, shipping, and order filling; develops and recommends improvements to current warehouse practices to promote efficiency, accuracy, faster service and lower costs.

  • Prepares or assists in the preparation of the department budget and manages to the budget.

  • Ensures cleanliness of facility

  • Performs related duties as assigned

Education:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work Experience:

Requires 5+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including 2+ years at a supervisory level.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates; foster teamwork, coach and develop employees.

  • Must be willing to work extended hours, take part in weekend on-call rotation, as needed, to meet productivity goals and provide emergency service to customers.

  • Must be willing to participate in physical inventory, as scheduled.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Good negotiating skills.

  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and systems, engineered standards and regulatory compliance matters.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work in a production-driven environment.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Knowledge of computers to operate effectively in Microsoft Office products.
