Operations Analyst Clin. Res. Support Full Time 81565BR Job Summary Under general supervision, the Operations Analyst is responsible for providing project management and general research administration support to Office of Clinical Trials Activation (OCTA) teams. Incumbents will provide a high level of diligence, accuracy and outstanding customer service in the furtherance of clinical trials activation. OCTA Operations Analysts will interact with a variety of stakeholders including OSR, /CD, /RB, faculty, department and other OCTA staff. This position plays a critical role in workflow distribution and communications to campus personnel. This includes managing the clinical trials management system (CTMS), Online Collaborative Research Environment (OnCore). Additionally, the OCTA is responsible for developing budgets and conducting coverage analyses and research billing plan reviews for clinical research studies conducted at UCSF. The OCTA negotiates payment terms with industry and nonprofit sponsors. The OCTA is responsible for processing new clinical research protocols and amendments, data collection and reporting using multiple electronic research systems and OnCore for extensive trial project configuration. The OCR works with clinical research supported by Federal, Private Industry, State, City/County, Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and institutional funding sources.
