Description Join an exciting new clinic, opening February 2025....UNCH Children's Developmental and Behavioral Clinic in Chapel Hill We are seeking a Nursing Coordinator who has a passion to assist patients and families. While working closely with our Developmental and Psychiatry Teams, responsibilities may include triaging calls from patients, working with insurance providers, and helping families navigate their care. Nurses with 5 years of nursing experience, strong critical thinking skills, who enjoy working independently, are encouraged to apply. Skills with SharePoint, Microsoft applications, and the ability to deep dive into Epic are preferred. *This position qualifies for our UNC Hospitals RN Incentive Program, which includes $10,000 for a 3 year commitment. In addition, this position is also eligible for up to $10,000 in relocation assistance (based on location) and our employee referral program. Summary: Responsibilities: 1. Assesses patient status of a specialized population. Rounds with an interdisciplinary health care team to determine patient care needs and coordinate ongoing acute care and long-term needs. Uses expertise and experience in specialty practice to facilitate patient care. Acts as a liaison between the patient, family and health care team to communicate patient care needs including coordination of patient/family care conferences.
