Patient Communication Representative- NW Team

We're looking to you to provide a high level of patient services over the telephone for assigned practices or service areas. You will serve as the initial point of contact guiding callers to the appropriate clinic/service.This will also involve utilizing our Electronic Medical Records system to communicate patient care and schedule appointments effectively and efficiently.You must maintain a high level of customer service, sense of urgency, reliability, data entry, active listening and proper phone etiquette. You will float and be required to multi-task varying assignments, depending on departmental needs.

Salary range: $29.53-$46.37 Hourly. Salary for this position is budgeted and based department equity.

This is a hybrid flex position that may require you to travel to the following locations: Irwindale, Agoura Hills and LAX as needed.

  • The ability work well with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment
  • Skill in working with diverse populations (patient, staff, physicians)
  • Proven ability to remain composed and professionally under difficult situations with a strong team approach
  • PC proficiency with various Windows applications
  • Knowledge of phone systems and technology
  • Skill in recognizing and responding to emergency/high-priority situations
  • May be subject to test on qualifying skills
