Job Summary

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified .NET Software Engineer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Nashville, TN

Responsibilities

* Develop high-quality software solutions using SQL Server, C#, SQL, and .Net Framework.

* Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Design code test and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

* Implement standard processes for software development including code reviews unit testing and continuous integration.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

* Solve and resolve sophisticated technical issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications.

* Maintain and update existing software applications to enhance functionality and performance.

* Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.

* Ensure software solutions are scalable secure and compliant with industry standards.

* Collaborate with collaborators to find opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

* Document software designs technical specifications and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

* Supply to the companys purpose by developing software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

* 10 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

* Possess strong expertise in SQL Server C# SQL and .Net Framework.

* Demonstrate experience in developing high-quality software solutions.

* Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated technical issues.

* Show proficiency in implementing standard methodologies for software development.

* Have experience in Vendor Management

* Retail and Item Management (nice to have).

* Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
