AWS Cloud Architect- Hybrid

Location: Richmond, Virginia

We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Architect with 8 to 10+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in AWS services including Amazon DynamoDB Amazon Lambda AWS CloudFormation AWS CloudTrail AWS CloudFront and AWS Cloud. The role requires domain experience in Cards and Payments. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable cloud solutions using AWS services to meet business requirements.

Oversee the architecture and deployment of cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and security.

Provide technical guidance and support for Amazon DynamoDB Amazon Lambda AWS CloudFormation AWS CloudTrail AWS CloudFront and AWS Cloud.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.

Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation and best practices.

Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and optimize resources for cost-efficiency.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the Cards and Payments domain.

Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to protect sensitive data.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely manner.

Lead the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Provide training and support to team members on cloud technologies and best practices.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and AWS services.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud architecture and processes.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of AWS services including Amazon DynamoDB Amazon Lambda AWS CloudFormation AWS CloudTrail AWS CloudFront and AWS Cloud.

Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions in the Cards and Payments domain.

Have experience in monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.

Show proficiency in conducting security assessments and implementing data protection measures.

Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills to resolve cloud infrastructure issues.

Display excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and AWS services.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73,350 - $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
