Job Summary:

As a member of the Integrated Supply Chain organization, the Production Control Coordinator supports the material planning, handling, and manufacturing execution process in the Sensor Systems Factory in Hudson, NH. by performing kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance activities within production and engineering lab environments.

As the Production Control Coordinator, you are responsible for:



  • Maintains work order progress, status records, and notifies Operations leads of delays or constraints affecting commitments.
  • Stages WIP and material within the factory according to daily priorities set by planning and manufacturing dispatch reporting, and responds to material shortages due to lost, damaged or defective material to prevent work stoppages in areas of responsibility.
  • Maintains accurate records by updating applicable systems to provide regular reports on the status of WIP to Planning, Manufacturing, and Operations Management.
  • Collaborates with Planning and Manufacturing teams to ensure engineering change orders affecting material are incorporated in a timely and accurate manner to minimize schedule impact.
  • Utilizes mainframe applications such as Oracle, Power BI, Agile PDM and shop floor MES to perform daily tasks.
  • Actively supports and participates in cycle count activities in the factory.
  • Actively participates in the establishment and replenishment of Point of Use inventories in the factory.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.



As the Production Control Coordinator, you are a part of:

An integrated supply chain team that manages and executes the production planning activities at our Hudson, NH facility. Our focus is meeting our customer delivery and quality expectations as well as ensuring Mercury business plans are achieved.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience in related field.
  • Experience in an ETO or MTO production environment.
  • Experience in production planning & general knowledge of MRP.
  • Experience in Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Experience in utilizing a factory MES/Shop Floor software tool.



Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in working defense industry.

Experience in production and capacity planning.

Experience in ERP. Oracle/SAP experience.

  • Driver and Goal Oriented: With limited guidance, identifies tasks needed to support desired outcomes, and challenges potential delays to drive necessary actions for results.
  • Organized: Demonstrated ability to stay organized with multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Good decision making and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented. Time management and workload prioritization capabilities are key.
  • Flexible: Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with limited guidance from Manager. Possesses a positive questioning attitude, able and willing to dive into the why.
