8050 Vista Reserve Blvd Suite 2200, Orlando, Florida 32829 Job Description: The IT Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure across all 225 locations. This role requires a deep understanding of Cisco Meraki equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage data network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki equipment. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, Wi-Fi Access Points, VM networks). Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations. Perform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the network and create appropriate alerts. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement network solutions. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. Ensure network security through the implementation of appropriate measures and protocols. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the network infrastructure remains current and efficient. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering. Extensive experience with Cisco Meraki equipment and solutions. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Meraki CMNA) are a plus. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching. Experience deploying and supporting DNS/DHCP services in an enterprise environment. Experience with network security practices and technologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
