Job Description:

The IT Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure across all 225 locations. This role requires a deep understanding of Cisco Meraki equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, implement, and manage data network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki equipment.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, Wi-Fi Access Points, VM networks).
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
  • Perform quarterly proactive network testing to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the network and create appropriate alerts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement network solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Ensure network security through the implementation of appropriate measures and protocols.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the network infrastructure remains current and efficient.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco Meraki equipment and solutions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Meraki CMNA) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience deploying and supporting DNS/DHCP services in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with network security practices and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
