Job Description

Danfoss Turbocor is currently looking for our next Senior Sales Driver Americas. The Senior Sales Driver Americas will be highly self-motivated with a profound understanding and solid experience in strategy, ideally with an Engineering background. This person will be passionate and motivated to apply strategic and sales insight to evaluate current and emerging opportunities to drive sales and harvest profitable growth.

The Senior Sales Driver Americas will lead the development and support execution of divisional strategy, short term & long-term growth initiatives aligned with the Annual Danfoss Turbocor Compass Goals and Must Win Battles regionally. This person will also collaborate across Climate Solutions Sales team, Product Management, Application Engineering and Aftermarket Service including Sales Development, to develop strong competitive market intelligence for Turbocor products and services.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.




  • Being the expert and first representative of Turbocor for KAM and Customers.
  • Development of the PL37 Sales team with OEM customers Global accounts, and Service partners (TASPs) working together with Danfoss Sales Account Managers, Systems Application Engineers, and Customer Experience Account Managers (CEAM).
  • In concert with Product Management define pricing to KAM and manage regional pricing escalations.
  • Participate in monthly SIOP demand planning meetings to provide clear sales forecast of NAM/LAM OEMs, potential shifts in demand and shortfalls.
  • Creation and coordination of Sales Initiatives, Growth, and Win plans.
  • Development of customized value propositions focused for specific product applications.
  • Actively join and support Account Teams on customer visits/meetings and promote Danfoss Turbocor Compressors and Services
  • Responsible for identifying and qualifying through the New Customer/Product Process
  • Build a strong internal network within Turbocor and product lines to be successful in driving new business opportunities.

  • Growth Mindset
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or business with good technical understanding of Turbocor compressors/applications
  • Proven customer-oriented mindset
  • 5-7 years of experience in Business or Sales Development
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including capability to present effectively to senior leadership inside and outside Danfoss.
  • Competent, courageous leader with maturity to maintain focus under pressure.
  • Strong understanding on development of contractual agreements to include NDA, supply, and service agreements.
  • Knowledge/experience in the chiller, heat pump and data center applications.
  • Strong knowledge working with SAP, Salesforce and product documentation.
  • Solid business experience in Strategy and Planning
  • Fluent in English, Spanish as a plus
  • Ability to travel within the region with up to 60%
