Provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the United States Operational Test Team (UOTT), preparing, processing and analyzing data collected during operational test events. In addition to scripting with Python 3, activity will include development of data solutions in support of test plans and test reporting. Documentation of data manipulation plans (in advance of data collection) and data manipulation tools (for analyst use) are key deliverables. The Python programmer will work closely with Data Managers and Analysts to ensure data is available and stored in compliance with overall data management approach. Will also provide A&AS with developing and managing (including internal/external collaboration) a unified AFOTEC Det 6 data analysis toolset shared across sites.

Essential Job Function:

Write Python scripts to prepare, process, and analyze data collected during operational test events.

Develop data solutions in support of test planning and reporting.

Write documentation for existing and newly developed scripts and tools used by data collectors, analysts, and data managers.

Participate in data analysis; assist Mission Systems Engineer to develop appropriate analysis methodologies and analysis products to fuel test planning and reporting efforts.

Participate in mission execution and data collection efforts.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor's degree plus 5 yearsor a Master's Degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.

Active Secret Clearance. Top Secret/SCI Eligible.

Well-qualified candidates will have experience using Python 3 to manipulate, display, and compare large volumes of technical "truth" data to test results in support of Analysis finding.

The candidate shall also have experience providing user-friendly interfaces and intuitive reference documents to facilitate efficient employment of developed scripts/programs.
